5. Provide the ‘Learner’s Licence Number’ and ‘Date of Birth’.

6. Enter the ‘Captcha’ in the provided space and tap on ‘OK’.

7. Upload the documents and photograph.

What is the validity of a driving licence in Gujarat?

The validity of a learner's licence is 6 months from the date it is issued, while a permanent DL is valid for up to 20 years (from the date of issuance) or 40 years of age of the licence holder (whichever comes first), after which the licence needs to be renewed.

Driving licence renewal: When to do and fees involved

A DL needs to be renewed after the expiry of the licence or 30 days before the expiry. If you apply within the prescribed time, your renewed licence becomes valid from the applicable date at a fee of ₹30 (subject to change).
