Toyota Fortuner Prices Revised by Up to Rs. 87,000

Toyota India has revised the prices of the Fortuner SUV across its entire lineup, with hikes ranging from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 87,000 depending on the variant. The Fortuner Legender has also seen a revision of up to Rs. 83,000. Here is a full breakdown of the new ex-showroom prices and what they mean for prospective buyers in the premium SUV segment.

  • Toyota India has revised the Fortuner's prices across every variant, with hikes ranging from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 87,000.

  • The Fortuner Legender has also received a price revision of up to Rs. 83,000, affecting both its 2WD and 4WD iterations.

Toyota India has announced a price hike for the Fortuner SUV, and it applies to every single variant in the lineup without exception. The revision, which took effect on May 05, 2026, sees prices go up by anywhere between Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 87,000, depending on the variant in question.

With the updated pricing, the Fortuner's ex-showroom range now sits between Rs. 34.76 lakh and Rs. 50.46 lakh.

Standard Fortuner Variants and Their Revised Price Points

Starting with the more accessible end of the range, the 2.7-litre petrol 2WD automatic, the 2.8-litre diesel 2WD manual, and both their Platinum White Pearl editions have each received a uniform hike of Rs. 60,000.

The 2.8-litre diesel 2WD automatic and its Platinum White Pearl counterpart have seen a slightly steeper revision of Rs. 65,000.

4WD Variants Bear the Biggest Brunt of the Hike

Moving to the four-wheel-drive derivatives, the 2.8-litre diesel 4WD manual has been revised upward by Rs. 67,000.

The mild-hybrid diesel variants attract a hike of Rs. 75,000, while the range-topping GR-S 4WD automatic receives the steepest revision of them all at Rs. 87,000. For anyone eyeing the flagship trim, that is a meaningful jump in outlay.

Fortuner Legender Prices Also Climb Upwards

The Fortuner Legender, which occupies a sportier, more premium position within the lineup, has not been spared either. Its 4x2 2WD diesel automatic now costs Rs. 75,000 more, bringing its ex-showroom price to Rs. 42.92 lakh, while the manual variant has gone up by Rs. 78,000 to Rs. 45.08 lakh.

The 4x4 mild-hybrid diesel, sitting at the very top of the Legender hierarchy, sees the largest revision within this sub-range at Rs. 83,000.

Where the Fortuner Stands in a Shifting Segment

Even after this revision, the Fortuner continues to hold its ground as one of the most recognisable names in India's premium body-on-frame SUV space. It carries both 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrain options, and buyers can choose between petrol and diesel powertrains, which gives the lineup a fairly wide spread in terms of capability and price.

On the horizon, the MG Majestor is preparing to enter the same segment, with its pricing yet to be announced.
