Top 5 most expensive cars and their owners in India

Earlier India was known as the market of utility and small cars and luxury cars were very far away from reality. Gradually the luxury car segment grew in India, and this article tells about the most expensive cars available in India along with their famous owners who range from popular businessmen to actors.

In the past, India was not recognized for having a large population of ultra-luxurious and costly automobile owners. However, things have been shifting in the last few years. Supercars and ultra-opulent luxury are now being purchased for crores by well-known celebrities and billionaire business tycoons.

Today, we present the list of the top five most costly vehicles currently owned by well-known Indians. So let's get right into it without further ado.

  1. Rolls Royce Phantom VIII EWB- Rs 22 Crore (Yohan Poonawalla)

Yohan Poonawalla, a multibillionaire businessman, has acquired an automobile that is now the priciest modern vehicle in India. For Rs 22 crore, Poonawalla purchased a brand-new Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII EWB with numerous custom extras. This sedan comes in gorgeous Bohemian Red, a solid gold Spirit of Ecstasy, an illuminated grille, a custom coach line with a "P" on the rear quarter panel, and enormous 22-inch brushed silver dish plate alloy wheels.

  1. Rolls Royce Phantom VIII EWB - Rs 15+ Crore (Nita Ambani)

Before Yohan Poonawalla's Rolls Royce Phantom, Nita Ambani's custom Rolls Royce Phantom VIII EWB is the most costly vehicle. The spouse of Mukesh Ambani, the wealthiest man in India, treated herself to a Phantom VIII EWB done in an exquisite shade of rose quartz.

Additionally, she has chosen a luxurious all-white interior with personalized headrests bearing Nita Mukesh Ambani's initials, "N.M.A." Due to several extra special options available, the base price of this sedan has increased from Rs 10.48 crore to more than 15 crore. The powerplant is a 6.75-liter V12 twin-turbocharged petrol engine that produces 571 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque.

  1. Bentley Mulsanne EWB Centenary Edition- Rs 14 Crore (V.S Reddy)

The Bentley Mulsanne EWB Centenary Edition, which belonged to British Biologicals Chairman V.S. Reddy, was once the priciest vehicle in India. At the time, it was valued at Rs 14 crore. The British luxury automaker Bentley introduced this specific model to commemorate the brand's 100th anniversary.

Only a select few people worldwide were able to purchase this automobile. Additionally, there were just three color options available: Centenary Gold, Centenary Black, and Centenary White. V.S. Reddy decided to paint his sedan Centenary Gold. Special veneers, unique insignia, and bespoke stitching were included.

  1. Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge- Rs 12.5 Crore (Emraan Hashmi)

The well-known Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi, who usually plays a relatively quiet role, spent Rs 12.25 crore on a brand-new Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge. He had this opulent version of the Ghost sent to his home. He has decided to paint his automobile a sophisticated shade of black.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge is equipped with 21-inch alloy wheels, blacked-out trims and emblems, and a blacked-out grille. The same 6.75-liter V12 twin-turbocharged engine that powers the base model powers this one as well. On the other hand, it produces 600 PS and 900 Nm of maximum torque. The typical gearbox that comes with 8-speed automatic.

  1. McLaren 765 LT Spider - Rs 12 Crore (Naseer Khan)

Additionally, one of the priciest vehicles in his collection is the fifth most costly vehicle in India. He paid approximately Rs 12 crore for his McLaren 765 LT Spider, which is the subject of our discussion.

The LT in McLaren 765 LT stands for "Long Tail," in case you were unaware. This stunning supercar has multiple enhancements and is a more track-focused version of the 720S. The 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that powers the vehicle produces 765 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. It is one of the most crazy driving supercars since all of this power is sent to the back wheels.

Conclusion

In conclusion, expensive cars are a statement of luxury and the stature the owner of the car holds in society. The expensive car market is slowly and rapidly growing and will continue to expand with the growing Indian Economy.
