Passenger Vehicle (PV) Sales: Modest YoY Growth
Tata Motors achieved marginal year-on-year (YoY) growth in its passenger vehicle segment. Total PV sales, including domestic and exports, reached 47,117 units in November 2024, a 2.11% increase over the 46,143 units sold in the same period last year.
Domestic PV Sales
Tata's domestic PV sales improved by 2.16%, with 47,063 units sold compared to 46,068 units in November 2023. However, on a month-on-month (MoM) basis, the sales dipped by 2.22% from 48,131 units sold in October 2024.Exports

Tata Motors’ electric vehicle lineup continued to perform well, with sales growing by 9.26% YoY. The company sold 5,202 EVs in November 2024, up from 4,761 units in November 2023.
Commercial Vehicle (CV) Sales: Challenges Persist
Tata’s commercial vehicle segment reported a 1% YoY decline in total sales, dropping to 27,636 units from 28,029 units in November 2023.
Domestic CV Sales
Domestic CV sales stood at 26,183 units, a slight decrease of 1% compared to 26,579 units in the same period last year.
HCV Trucks: Sales declined by 8% YoY to 7,586 units from 8,253 units in November 2023.
ILMCV Trucks: This category maintained flat sales with 4,374 units sold, similar to 4,285 units last year.
Passenger Carriers: Demonstrating robust growth, the passenger carrier segment surged by 42% to 3,022 units, up from 2,130 units in November 2023.
SCV Cargo and Pick-ups: Sales in this segment fell by 5%, declining to 11,201 units from 11,811 units sold in November 2023.
Exports
CV exports remained nearly stagnant, with 1,453 units shipped, a marginal increase from 1,450 units in November 2023.
