Tata Curvv Ev Exterior Design Explained In 5 Images

Tata Curvv EV Exterior Design Explained In 5 Images

The Tata Curvv EV, recently unveiled in its production-spec form, marks a significant milestone as India’s first mass-market electric SUV coupe. Based on the Acti.ev platform, which also underpins the Tata Punch EV, the Curvv EV boasts a distinctive design language. Let’s explore the exterior features of the Tata Curvv EV through these 5 detailed images.

1. Front Fascia

The front of the Tata Curvv EV draws inspiration from the Tata Nexon EV, featuring connected LED DRLs with sequential turn indicators and welcome and goodbye animations. The all-LED headlight setup, complemented by LED fog lamps, is housed within a bumper design that closely resembles that of the Nexon EV.

2. Side Profile

From the side, the Curvv EV showcases its coupe-like roofline, similar to its ICE counterpart. Unique to the Curvv EV are the flush-style door handles, a first for a Tata vehicle, and aerodynamically designed alloy wheels. Gloss black cladding around the wheel arches and blacked-out ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) with a bulge for the 360-degree camera further enhance its sleek profile.

3. Rear View

The rear of the Curvv EV features connected LED tail lights with sequential turn indicators and animations, echoing the front design language. An integrated roof spoiler finished in black, a black-treated rear bumper, and a silver skid plate add to its sporty and rugged aesthetic.

4. Expected Electric Powertrain and Range

While Tata has yet to disclose specific battery pack and electric motor details, it's anticipated that the Curvv EV will offer two battery pack options, with an estimated range of around 500 km. Additionally, like the Nexon EV, the Curvv EV is expected to feature V2L (vehicle-to-load) and V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) functionalities.

5. Expected Price and Rivals

The Tata Curvv EV is expected to be priced from approximately Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the MG ZS EV and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, positioning itself as a premium alternative to the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400 EV.

The Tata Curvv EV sets a new standard for design and innovation in the electric vehicle market, with its striking exterior and anticipated robust performance. Stay tuned for more updates as Tata Motors prepares for its official launch.
