The popular Skoda Slavia sedan, which has been on sale since February 2022, is set to receive a mid-life update. The Slavia is part of Skoda's India 2.0 initiative, which also includes its badge-engineered twin, the Volkswagen Virtus sedan, along with the Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun SUVs.
Skoda Slavia Facelift: What’s New?
Exterior Updates: The refreshed Slavia is expected to feature re-worked front and rear bumpers, along with a new headlamp and grille assembly. The updated model might also get connected headlamps similar to those on the Hyundai Verna. Rear design changes are expected to be minimal.
Interior Enhancements: The facelift will likely include minor cosmetic changes and additional equipment, depending on the variant.
Powertrain: No changes are expected on the powertrain side. The Slavia will continue with its current engine options:
150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol: Available with manual and DSG gearbox options.
115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol: Available with manual and torque converter automatic options.
Launch Timeline
Skoda will start the new year with the global debut of an all-new compact SUV, with the facelifts for the Kushaq and Slavia likely to follow later in 2025.
