Rolls Royce launched the Ghost Series II in India at Rs. 8.95 Crore.

The Ghost Series II was introduced by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in India, with an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 8.95 crore. It has a new exterior appearance and is said to be the most driver-focused and technologically advanced V12 Rolls-Royce to date.

It has a new exterior design, a new Spirit digital interface and Whispers private members app, an upgraded audio system, internet connectivity, and video streaming capabilities, a twin-turbocharged engine, a planar suspension system, a flagbearer, and satellite-assisted transmission systems. It is said to be the most technologically sophisticated and driver-focused V12 Rolls-Royce to date.

Variants available in Ghost Series II in India

The vehicle is offered in Black Badge Ghost Series II and Ghost Extended Series II trims in addition to the normal Ghost Series II trim. Their ex-showroom pricing is listed below.

  • Rs 8.95 crore for the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II

  • Rs 10.19 crore for the Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Series II

  • Rs 10.52 crore for the Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost Series II

The second-generation Rolls-Royce Ghost vehicle debuted in 2020, whereas the first-generation model was introduced in 2009.

Exteriors of Ghost Series II

The Rolls-Royce Pantheon grille is the major attraction in the Ghost Series II. The DRLs and headlights have been updated. There is a new taillamp arrangement in the back. Two new 22-inch, nine-spoke wheel designs—one fully-polished and one partially-polished—are available to buyers.

Interiors of Ghost Series II

Both analog and digital functions may be found inside the Ghost Series II. The sophisticated Spirit operating system is integrated into the central information display, which is housed in the new pillar-to-pillar glass screen.

Additionally, Spirit incorporates Whispers, the Rolls-Royce private members app, which enables owners to check the location of their vehicle, send locations straight to their car, and remotely control vehicle locks.

Updates in the Ghost Series II

For Ghost Series II, networking and entertainment features have been improved. Now, passengers in the back seats can connect two streaming devices to the rear screens, stream separately on each panel, and choose their favorite entertainment from a newly designed interface that also controls seating features like heating, cooling, and massaging. The infotainment system in the back seat can be connected to any kind of Bluetooth headphones.

The vehicle features a modernized 1410-watt amplifier and an 18-speaker audio system. The Spirit of Ecstasy Clock Cabinet is the new addition to the main information display. 'Grey-Stained Ash' is a novel interior material that has been employed inside the cabin.

Powertrain in the Ghost Series II

Rolls-Royce's 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine coupled to an eight-speed gearbox powers the Ghost Series II. The all-wheel drivetrain and steering are powered by this. The planar suspension system uses self-leveling, high-volume air strut assemblies and electronically controlled, continuously variable shock absorbers in conjunction with an upper wishbone damper unit above the front suspension assembly.
