The black edition of Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe have been officially offered in India by Porsche at a price of 1.80 crores and 1.87 crores (ex-showroom) respectively.
These special forget versions have had additional visual treatment over the mechanics of the normal Cayenne variants.
Larger Design, United Premium
The Black Editions have a premium of 31 lakhs and 32 lakhs over their respective standard variants, as they are priced at 1.49 crore and 1.55 crore, respectively. The extra price is absorbed in cosmetic upgrades, such as blacked-out design features, putting them on a higher road status.

Although named the Black Edition, however, both cars are available in seven exterior paint colors as standard choices, which include Chromite Black Metallic, Carrara White Metallic, Dolomite Silver, Quartzite Grey, Carmine Red, Cashmere Beige, and Ivory White.
Custom colours cost at least 7.30 lakh, or those customers who want even more exclusive shades can choose Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur, which is as high as 20.13 lakh.
Key design changes include:
Blacked-out headlights, ORVMs, badges, and window trim
21-inch RS Spyder alloy wheels
Dark bronze finish on exhaust pipes
LED puddle lamps
Interiors: All-Black Sophistication
On the inside, the SUV will have a fully black leather interior with brushed aluminium in the Cayenne and Coupe Black Editions and helps to further elevate the sportier and luxurious feel.
Other cabin features are:
14 way Front power adjustable seats
Panoramic sunroof
Lighted door posts
Bose 710W 14-speaker sound system
Powertrain: No mechanical changes
Both the Black Edition cars are equipped with the same engine, namely a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol with an output of 353hp and 500Nm torque.
Drive train is an 8-speed torque converter automatic, along with an AWD system and multi-terrain modes. On the one hand, the powertrain is not updated, but on the other hand, the Black Edition is outstanding in terms of visuality.
As the luxury SUV brand expands its line to include the Cayenne Black Edition series, Porsche additionally appeals to the buyers who are inclined to luxury and an eccentric style, augmenting the image of the SUV as something more aspirational in the Indian market.
