Nissan Magnite Facelift: Variant-wise Feature Breakdown

The 2024 Nissan Magnite has received a subtle facelift, with updated styling elements both inside and out. Priced between Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 11.50 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom India), the Magnite is available in six variants: Visia, Visia Plus, Accenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna Plus. Here, we break down the features of each variant, starting with the base-spec Visia.

Nissan Magnite Visia Variant

Exterior:

  • Halogen headlights and taillights

  • Chrome-finished door handles

  • 16-inch steel wheels

  • Functional roof rails (50 kg load capacity)

  • Roof-mounted rear spoiler

Interior:

  • All-black cabin with fabric upholstery

  • Rear armrest with cup holders

  • 60:40 split rear seats

  • Adjustable headrests

  • Day/night IRVM

  • Front and rear cabin lamps

Infotainment: N.A.

Comfort and Convenience:

  • Semi-digital instrument cluster

  • Manual AC

  • All power windows

  • 12V power outlet

  • PM2.5 air filter

  • Tilt-adjustable steering wheel

Safety:

  • 6 airbags

  • 3-point seat belts for all passengers

  • ISOFIX child seat mounts

  • Hill start assist

  • ABS with EBD

  • Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)

  • Rear parking sensors

The base Visia variant provides essentials like six airbags and ISOFIX mounts, along with 16-inch steel wheels and a simple all-black interior. However, it misses out on an infotainment system and a reverse camera.

Nissan Magnite Visia Plus Variant

Over the Visia, the Visia Plus offers:

  • Exterior: Shark fin antenna

  • Infotainment: 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, 4-speaker audio system

  • Safety: Reverse parking camera, rear wiper, and washer, rear defogger

Priced at Rs 50,000 higher than the base variant, the Visia Plus adds an infotainment system and reverse parking camera. It’s powered by the 72 PS 1-litre naturally aspirated engine with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Nissan Magnite Accenta Variant

The Accenta adds the following over Visia Plus:

  • Exterior: Front and rear skid plates, LED turn indicators on ORVMs, body-colored ORVMs, wheel covers

  • Comfort and Convenience: Height-adjustable driver’s seat, auto AC, keyless entry, push-button start/stop (turbo variants only), steering-mounted controls, electrically adjustable/foldable ORVMs, auto up/down driver’s side window

  • Safety: Burglar alarm

This mid-spec variant introduces features like keyless entry and auto AC. Turbo variants include remote engine start and push-button start/stop.

Nissan Magnite N-Connecta Variant

The N-Connecta includes upgrades such as:

  • Exterior: 16-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, body side cladding with silver inserts

  • Interior: Soft-touch leatherette dashboard elements, auto-dimming IRVM, illuminated glovebox, rear parcel tray

  • Infotainment: 8-inch floating touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 6-speaker ARKAMYS sound system, voice recognition

  • Comfort and Convenience: Rear AC vents, front armrest with storage, Type-C charging ports, boot lamp, 7-inch digital driver’s display

N-Connecta enhances the interior with leatherette elements and a premium sound system but still lacks LED headlights.

Nissan Magnite Tekna Variant

The Tekna variant adds:

  • Exterior: LED taillights, auto-LED projector headlights, LED fog lamps, LED turn indicators

  • Interior: Dual-tone black and grey cabin, orange stitching on the dashboard and steering wheel, soft-touch door pads, semi-leatherette seat upholstery

  • Comfort and Convenience: Cruise control, cooled glovebox

  • Safety: 360-degree camera system

This variant offers premium features like full LED lighting and a 360-degree camera, along with semi-leather upholstery.

Nissan Magnite Tekna Plus Variant

The top-spec Tekna Plus adds these features over Tekna:

Interior: Dual-tone black and orange cabin theme with leather seat upholstery, orange-finished leatherette dashboard elements, 4 colour ambient lighting

The Tekna Plus focuses on cabin upgrades, with ambient lighting and a dual-tone leather interior, but does not add many new comfort or safety features.

2024 Nissan Magnite Powertrain Options

1-litre naturally aspirated petrol:

  • Power: 72 PS

  • Torque: 96 Nm

  • Transmission: 5-speed MT / 5-speed AMT

  • Claimed mileage: 19.4 kmpl (MT) / 19.7 kmpl (AMT)

1-litre turbo-petrol:

  • Power: 100 PS

  • Torque: 160 Nm (MT) / 152 Nm (CVT)

  • Transmission: 5-speed MT / CVT

  • Claimed mileage: 19.9 kmpl (MT) / 17.9 kmpl (CVT)

2024 Nissan Magnite Rivals

The facelifted Nissan Magnite competes in the sub-4m SUV segment against models like the Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300. It also goes up against the Maruti Fronx and Toyota Taisor.
