1. New Generation BMW 5 Series Launched in India

BMW has introduced the 2024 5 Series in India, priced at ₹172.9 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model enters the competitive premium executive sedan segment and is available exclusively in the long-wheelbase (LWB) form. India is the first market globally to receive the right-hand drive 5 Series in the LWB guise.

2. Mini Cooper and Countryman Electric Make India Debut

Mini, the iconic British luxury car marque owned by BMW Group, has launched two new electric models in India: the Mini Cooper S and the Mini Countryman SE. The Mini Cooper S is priced at ₹44.90 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Mini Countryman E is priced at ₹54.90 lakh (ex-showroom). These models retain their classic charm with subtle design enhancements.

3. BMW CE 04 Launched as India's Most Expensive Electric Scooter

BMW Motorrad has launched the CE 04 electric scooter in India at ₹14.90 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most expensive electric scooter available in the country. The CE 04, arriving as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), will begin deliveries in September 2024. This marks BMW's entry into the electric two-wheeler segment.

4. Nissan X-Trail Bookings to Open on 26th July

Nissan Motor India has announced that bookings for the X-Trail will open on 26th July, with a booking amount set at ₹1 lakh. Deliveries are slated to begin in August, and the company already has 150 units ready for dispatch. The X-Trail will serve as Nissan's flagship SUV in the Indian market.

5. 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Teased with Major Upgrades

Hero MotoCorp is gearing up for a festive season launch, teasing the 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V. This sports commuter bike promises significant upgrades over its predecessor. The previous model, introduced in 2023, brought substantial changes, and the 2024 edition is expected to be even more feature-packed.

6. Kawasaki Leaps into Hydrogen Motorcycle Technology

Kawasaki has made strides in sustainable mobility with the successful demonstration of its hydrogen-powered internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycle. This hydrogen-powered bike, based on the iconic Ninja H2 SX, features a modified 998 cc supercharged engine designed for direct hydrogen injection. The public demonstration took place at the Suzuka Circuit, showcasing Kawasaki's commitment to alternative fuels.
