Toyota is set to introduce its new Urban Cruiser Hyryder, a new mid-size SUV, ahead of its scheduled debut on July 1, 2022. The SUV's manufacturing will begin in August, and deliveries are expected to start the following month. Toyota has just released several teaser photographs and videos of the future Hyryder SUV. This new teaser image shows the upcoming offering's all-wheel-drive technology. In the meantime, the previous teaser revealed the fascia of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Performance
The Suzuki-sourced 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology will power the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, incorporating an idle start/stop function. Toyota Hyryder will be available with two petrol engine choices. This engine will most likely be available with both automatic and manual transmissions.
Price
The new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder is expected to be between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 16 lakh (ex-showroom).
Exterior
The latest SUV from Toyota boasts a dual-tone exterior combination of red and black. The new Urban Cruiser Hyryder will have a distinctive front with split horizontal daytime running lights next to a blanked-off grille and a modern design language. Apart from that, the SUV would resemble the Glanza hatchback in appearance with a single chrome slat across the front grille. The SUV will have split headlights, with DRLs placed lower on the front bumper and headlamps on each side of the hood.
Interior
Inside the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, a dual-tone black and brown theme with silver colour inlays is most likely present. A nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, a power driver's seat, a digital instrument cluster, leather upholstery, and connected car technology are also likely to be included in the SUV. It will also likely have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SUV is anticipated to include both a 6-speed manual and automatic powertrain.
