New Force Citiline Muv With A Roomy Ten Seater Capacity Arrives In India

A New Force Citiline MUV With A Roomy 10-Seater Capacity Arrives In India

Introducing the Citiline MUV, a powerful addition to India's automotive landscape, offering a spacious 10-seater capacity. This forceful vehicle combines robust performance with a roomy interior, making it ideal for large groups or families. The Citiline promises a comfortable and safe journey with its expansive seating arrangement, making every ride a memorable experience. Embrace the new era of mobility with this versatile and capacious MUV, setting the stage for a dynamic travel experience in India.

The Citiline MUV, which is based on the Trax Cruiser and costs Rs 15.93 lakh (ex-showroom), has been introduced by Force Motors. The MUV has a 2.6-litre diesel engine adapted from a Mercedes with room for up to 10 passengers.

Due to state regulations that only permit up to 8 seats, Citiline still needs to meet the requirements to be registered in Maharashtra as a private vehicle. Delhi is also experiencing a similar problem with the MUV. Sources claim that Citiline can be registered in various additional states, nevertheless. The Citiline, which has a length of 5,120mm, is a roomy and useful alternative for business needs.

The Trax Cruiser and Citiline MUV have a similar fundamental design. However, the Citiline MUV differs from the commercial vehicle in a few significant ways. The Citiline's front bumper and grille are completed in body colour, and the grille has a circular Citiline emblem and square chrome accents in the four horizontal slots.

Contrary to the Trax Cruiser's black plastic finish, the Citiline's wheel arches and lower body portions are likewise finished in the body's colour. The two MUVs look the same from the back but for a Citiline insignia and a revised bumper. The Citiline has three-slot air vents above the front wheels.

The Citiline MUV's interior is most notable for accommodating up to 10 passengers, including the driver. The second row has a bench, the third has captain's seats, and the fourth row has another bench. Additionally, there is a 60:40 divide in the second row allows access to the final two seats.

The biggest distinction between the two cars is that the Trax Cruiser has two side-facing jump seats behind the second row. Although Citiline's interior is plain and devoid of an infotainment system, the back seats have roof-mounted air conditioning vents. The Citiline is 238 mm and 5120 mm shorter in length than the Land Rover Defender 130 and the Toyota Hilux, respectively.

A 2.6-litre diesel engine from Mercedes-Benz that produces 91 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque powers the Citiline MUV. The engine is used in numerous Force Motors vehicles and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Anti-lock brakes (ABS) and electronic brake force distribution (EBD) are standard on Citiline. The Gurkha SUV will also be available in a five-door variant from Force Motors, which will likely have different seating configurations and share many features with the three-door model, including the engine. The three-door and five-door Gurkha models look substantially the same, despite having two extra doors and a greater wheelbase.
