New Audi Q7 Facelift India Launch On November 28 2024

New Audi Q7 Facelift India Launch on November 28, 2024

The Audi Q7, a flagship luxury SUV known for its elegance and performance, is getting a fresh update. Audi India has officially started accepting bookings for the facelifted Q7, which comes with a host of design tweaks, advanced features, and the same potent engine under the hood. Customers can reserve their unit online with a booking amount of Rs. 2 lakh. The highly anticipated launch is scheduled for November 28, 2024, with assembly taking place at the Skoda-VW plant in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

Here’s everything you need to know about the updated Audi Q7.

Striking Exterior Updates

The refreshed Q7 sports a bold and modern design that borrows cues from Audi’s premium Q8 SUV. Buyers will have the option to choose from five exterior shades: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Samurai Grey, Glacier White, and Mythos Black. Sakhir Gold, previously exclusive to the Q8, adds a unique premium touch to the lineup.

One of the key highlights of the facelift is the redesigned Matrix LED headlights with darkened surrounds. The Q7 also features dynamic Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), offering four distinct patterns that can be customized via the infotainment system. A revamped grille with a mesh-like pattern replaces the outgoing model’s vertical slat design, giving the front fascia a sleeker, more aggressive look.

These design enhancements not only elevate the Q7’s visual appeal but also align it with Audi’s latest design philosophy, ensuring it remains competitive in the luxury SUV segment.

Luxurious Interiors with Modern Tech

Inside, the Q7 retains its sophisticated cabin layout while introducing new color options, including Cedar Brown and Saiga Beige, for added customization. The seven-seater SUV continues to offer the same spacious, high-quality interior design with an emphasis on comfort and technology.

The cabin is equipped with three high-resolution displays: a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment screen, and a separate touchscreen for climate controls. The digital cockpit now includes advanced features such as distance monitoring, lane change warnings, intersection assist, and traffic light information, enhancing the driving experience and safety.

The materials used in the cabin, combined with precise attention to detail, underline Audi's commitment to luxury and refinement. Whether seated in the front or the third row, passengers can expect a premium experience.

Performance and Powertrain

Under the hood, the updated Q7 retains the powerful 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine. Delivering an impressive 335bhp and 500Nm of torque, this powertrain ensures exhilarating performance. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 5.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 250kmph, a remarkable feat for a vehicle of its size.

This engine is paired with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission, providing a seamless driving experience. While the Q7 doesn’t see any mechanical changes, the proven performance of its powertrain ensures it continues to be a favorite among driving enthusiasts who value luxury.

Launch Timeline and Pricing

The updated Audi Q7 will officially hit Indian roads on November 28, 2024. This marks the first facelift for the Q7 in five years, following its global unveiling in January. The outgoing model, available in two trims (standard and Bold Edition), is currently priced between Rs. 96.34 lakh and Rs. 97.84 lakh (ex-showroom).

Given the new styling elements and additional features, the facelifted Q7 is expected to carry a slight premium over its predecessor. Audi’s strategy to assemble the SUV locally at its Aurangabad plant will likely help keep pricing competitive within the luxury SUV segment.

A Competitive Edge

With its updated design, advanced features, and proven performance, the facelifted Audi Q7 is poised to strengthen its position in the premium SUV market. Competing against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and Volvo XC90, the Q7 facelift brings a fresh appeal to buyers seeking a blend of luxury, technology, and power.

For prospective buyers, the updated Audi Q7 represents an excellent opportunity to own a vehicle that offers the best of Audi’s engineering and design. Stay tuned for the official price reveal on November 28, 2024, and expect this luxury SUV to turn heads on Indian roads soon.
