MG Windsor EV Achieves 15,000-Unit Production Milestone – Specs, Features & More. The MG Windsor EV has rapidly gained popularity in India, reaching 15,000 units in just five months. Here's a closer look at its design, features, battery specs, and pricing.

Since its launch in September 2024, the MG Windsor EV has emerged as one of India’s most sought-after electric crossovers. The vehicle has now achieved a significant production milestone, crossing 15,000 units in just 5 months.

MG Motors had initially received over 15,000 bookings on the very first day of launch, marking one of the highest-ever pre-orders for an EV in India. The demand continues to remain strong, with approximately 200 bookings each day, solidifying its position as a leader in the segment.

MG Windsor EV: Striking Design & Features

The MG Windsor EV’s design is one of its standout elements. It features a protruding front fascia with a blanked-off grille, connected LED DRLs, LED headlights, and an illuminated MG logo, highlighting its electric identity.

Other exterior highlights include flush door handles, body-colored ORVMs, and stylish 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the Windsor boasts connected LED taillamps, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a chrome-accented bumper, giving it a premium look.

Inside, the Windsor EV is packed with tech-laden features, making it a feature-rich and comfortable offering in its segment.

Some of the key highlights include:

  • 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay

  • Infinity 9-speaker sound system for an immersive audio experience

  • Automatic climate control for added comfort

  • Panoramic glass roof enhancing cabin spaciousness

  • Reclining rear seats for extra passenger comfort

  • Wireless phone charger for convenience

On the safety front, the MG Windsor EV offers:

  • Six airbags as standard

  • 360-degree camera for better visibility while parking

  • Hill hold assist for added stability on inclines

  • However, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is not included in the package

Performance & Battery Specs

The MG Windsor EV is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. All three variants share the same battery pack and electric motor.

Here’s a breakdown of its powertrain specifications:

With a price range of ₹10 lakh to ₹16 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India), the MG Windsor EV is positioned as a strong competitor to the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV 3XO EV. It provides an attractive package for buyers looking for a stylish, feature-rich, and practical electric crossover at an affordable price.
