MG Motor India has collaborated with prominent gamer Naman Mathur Aka MortaL to design MG Comet’s interior inspired by cars seen on gaming platforms.

MG Motor India is set to launch its urban mobility solution, the MG Comet EV, in May 2023 and has interesting plans for its upcoming dinky electric car. The company has partnered with Naman Mathur, aka MortaL, for the upcoming Smart EV Comet, upholding its dedication to technology as demonstrated by other initiatives like the MG Xpert, Epay, MG VPhy NFT, and MGVerse, among others. At present, MG Motor India has shared that the new MG Comet will feature gamer-inspired seats and a steering wheel, while other details are expected to surface closer to the launch period.

The partnership aims to rethink how design and technology are combined by integrating two different fields. According to Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) - Gaurav Gupta, the collaboration is producing something "truly incredible" that will showcase the fun and innovation of the Smart EV Comet. The cooperation will show the company's commitment to cutting-edge technology throughout its entire product line and be warmly appreciated by the gaming and automotive industries.

MortaL, a stage name for Naman Mathur, said, "I am incredibly excited to work with MG Motor! This announcement speaks to me personally as a gamer and auto enthusiast. I do not doubt that Comet will provide the unique and fashionable products that the gaming community values. It is fantastic to see a company like MG recognise the importance of gaming and make an effort to appeal to this expanding market. This partnership holds a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to see what they have in store.”

The collaboration between MG Motor and MortaL strives to create a unique product that will challenge the boundaries of design and technology integration. The objective is to produce an innovative item demonstrating the effectiveness of combining design and technology.
