Maruti Suzuki sales see an uptick of 2.8 percent on a Y-o-Y basis
Maruti Suzuki recorded a total sales of 1,81,343 units which translates to a growth of 2.8 percent on a Y-o-Y basis.
The total sales included 1,53,106 units of domestic sales, 5,726 units of sale to other OEMs, and 22,511 units of sale as exports.
The company also achieved a milestone of surpassing one-million unit sales mark for the first time under the half-year time duration. The company recorded 1,050,085 units sales for the period of April to September 2023.
The mini segment that includes cars like Alto and S-Presso saw a sale of 10,351 units.
The compact car segment which includes Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis and Swift saw a sale of 68,552 units.
And the utility vehicle segment which has products like the Brezza, Grand Vitara, Jimny, Ertiga and XL6 saw a sale of 59,271 units.
