Mahindra is preparing a notable update for the Scorpio N, aiming to add fresh features without altering its core design. This move is not only to maintain interest in India but also to meet stricter safety norms in export markets.
Mahindra’s Update Drive
The automaker has multiple projects underway, from a next-gen Bolero to facelifts for the Thar and XUV700, along with new EVs like the XUV3XO EV and XEV 7e. Among these, the Scorpio N gets attention with a likely new trim bundling extra equipment rather than a full redesign.
Features Expected
The refreshed Scorpio N will probably launch around the festive season in India. The headline addition is a Level-2 ADAS package centered on Auto Emergency Braking (AEB).
Complementary systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, high beam assist, and other driver aids are likely part of the suite.
On the comfort side, Mahindra may introduce a panoramic sunroof, elevating the cabin feel beyond the current single-pane sunroof found only on top variants.
There is hope for rear ventilated seats in six-seater layouts and an upgraded infotainment screen around 10.2 inches.
Powertrain options are expected to remain the familiar 2.0L turbo-petrol and 2.2L diesel engines, with six-speed manual or automatic and an optional 4WD system.
