Kia India Surpasses a milestone of 15 lakh units in production

Kia India has marked a huge milestone by reaching over 15 lakh units of domestic production. The Korean automaker set up shop here, starting by inking an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government to install a plant for manufacturing in the Anantapur district.

Kia India has marked a big achievement by crossing the 15 lakh unit mark of production within the nation. The Korean automaker set sail in this region by entering into an MoU with the government of Andhra Pradesh to open a manufacturing facility within the Anantapur district.

Leading the pack of the most produced models is the Kia Seltos with more than 7,00,668 units produced, followed by the Sonet and Carens at 5,19,064 and 2,41,582 units, respectively.

Kia India to offer 4 models

Today, Kia sells four made-in-India products, such as the Syros, Sonet, Seltos, and the Carens, in addition to three imported products: the Carnival, EV6, and the EV9.

Aside from this production landmark, Kia has also revealed the launch date for the revamped Carens, which will arrive in India on 8 May.

Words from the MD and CEO of Kia India

Addressing the occasion, Gwanggu Lee, Managing Director and CEO, Kia India, said, "Reaching our 1.5 millionth 'Make in India' vehicle is a moment of pride and emotion for Kia India and all partners who have been along this journey.". From the first Seltos to the 1.5 millionth Carens of today, every vehicle is a testament to our customers' and partners' faith, love, and support. We are deeply thankful for this relationship and for the future in which we shall continue our mission of driving automobile excellence. Kia India's future is promising as we stay committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation, providing world-class products, and influencing India's mobility map."

Conclusion

Kia India's excellent feat of delivering more than 15 lakh vehicles reflects its rapid expansion and immense focus on the Indian market. With a powerful lineup of in-demand models such as the Seltos, Sonet, and Carens, and the eagerly awaited new Carens launch, Kia keeps reinforcing its place as one of the biggest players in the automobile industry. The firm's innovation vision, quality, and customer satisfaction commitment guarantee a thrilling future, further solidifying its presence in India's changing mobility landscape.
