Kia India has marked a big achievement by crossing the 15 lakh unit mark of production within the nation. The Korean automaker set sail in this region by entering into an MoU with the government of Andhra Pradesh to open a manufacturing facility within the Anantapur district.
Leading the pack of the most produced models is the Kia Seltos with more than 7,00,668 units produced, followed by the Sonet and Carens at 5,19,064 and 2,41,582 units, respectively.
Kia India to offer 4 models
Today, Kia sells four made-in-India products, such as the Syros, Sonet, Seltos, and the Carens, in addition to three imported products: the Carnival, EV6, and the EV9.
Aside from this production landmark, Kia has also revealed the launch date for the revamped Carens, which will arrive in India on 8 May.
