The much-awaited Kia EV9 is set to hit the Indian market on October 3, 2024, alongside the new-generation Carnival. As Kia’s flagship electric SUV, the EV9 brings a blend of power, technology, and luxury that marks a significant milestone in the brand’s electric vehicle offerings.

Measuring 5,015mm in length, 1,980mm in width, and 1,780mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,100mm, the EV9 promises to offer spacious interiors and a strong road presence. Powered by a 99.8kWh battery pack paired with dual electric motors, it generates an impressive 379bhp and 700Nm of torque, delivering power to all four wheels via an all-wheel drive (AWD) system. The EV9 can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 5.3 seconds.
On a full charge, the EV9 offers an ARAI-certified range of 561km, making it an ideal choice for long-distance electric driving. The vehicle also supports fast charging, replenishing from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes with a DC fast charger.
Design and Colour Options
Customers in India will be able to choose from five color options, including Snow White Pearl, Ocean Blue, Pebble Gray, Panthera Metal, and Aurora Black Pearl, enhancing the car’s appeal with a sleek, modern aesthetic.
