Kia Carens Clavis India Launch Today: Variants & Features

Kia India will be launching the Carens Clavis today as it introduces a premium product across 7 different variants. The Clavis will come with three powertrain options, come with modern tech and bravely styled to expand Kia's footprint in the competitive three-row family car segment in India.

Kia India is all set to officially launch the 2025 Kia Carens Clavis on May 23, 2023 - marking yet another family-focused vehicle from Kia India, with the Clavis set to accompany the existing Carens.

The Clavis will cater to customers wanting a much more refined and tech-focused vehicle in the three-row MPV space. Bookings have already opened at authorized dealerships and on the brand's official website.

Seven Variants, Multiple Engine Choices

Kia will introduce the new Carens Clavis in seven variants: HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX and HTX+. Customers will have three engine options- 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol and a 1.5-liter diesel engine.

There will be multiple transmission options- 5-speed manual transmission, 6-speed manual transmission, 6-speed automatic transmission, 6-speed iMT, and 7-speed DCT. Excellent fuel efficiency expected with claimed mileage of up to 19.54 kmpl.

Latest Design, New Colour Options

The Carens Clavis is now more rugged and modern in its exterior design. Key features are the new stylish LED Headlamps with DRLs, blanked out bumper with LED light bar, faux skid plates, dual-tone alloy wheels and new roof rails.

The MPV will be available in 8 colours including Ivory Silver Gloss, Imperial Blue, Glacier White Pearl, and Aurora Black Pearl.

Premium Cabin and Segment-Relevant Features

The Clavis changes the way we think about comfort and tech in the MPV category. Aside from a wide range of choices including a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, two 12.25-inch screens, two dash cams, six airbags, UV-cut windows and an EPB, it also complements the premium look and feel of a four-way powered driver's seat.

With a winning blend of flexibility, safety and modern conveniences, the Kia Carens Clavis will certainly be a serious contender in India's rapidly changing MPV market, taking the fight to compatriot contenders like Maruti's XL6.
