Hyundai standardises 3-point seatbelt and safety reminder for all seats across its lineup.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced the standardisation of 3-point seatbelt and seat belt reminders for all seats across its entire lineup. The company’s key safety enhancement initiatives taken in 2023 includes airbag standardisation. In addition to the Hyundai Tuscon and Hyundai Kona, the standardisation of six airbags was extended to Creta, Alcazar and Ioniq 5. Additionally, Hyundai Venue was upgraded with four airbags as standard on major volume variants. The Grand i10 Nios and Aura were also offered with four airbags as standard.

The Hyundai Verna is also offered with six airbags as standard. The Creta and Alcazar were also upgraded with a host of standard active and passive safety features including Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), and rear disc brakes to name a few.

We firmly believe that Safety feature standardisation will offer superior protection for our customers.”
