Since its introduction to the market, the Hyundai Inster EV has been grabbing the headlines and now it has even achieved a milestone in the big show - Euro NCAP credited the car with a 4-star rating in the crash safety tests.
An urban subcompact electric car created as a smaller form of the crossover Hyundai Casper, the Inster EV is the electric sibling of the previously-mentioned model, a vehicle targeting an urban customer who is interested in a small, affordable, practical, and energy-saving machine.
After being named the 2025 World Electric Vehicle, the impressive performance of the Inster EV in crash tests gives it greater grounds to establish its name in the highly competitive EV industry.

Car, bike and pedestrian Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)

Regardless of the narrow size of the model that belongs to the City and Supermini segment, the Inster EV performed well in several general safety indicators, owing to its well-considered combination of passive and active safety tools.
In conclusion
The Hyundai Inster EV weighs only 1,358 kg, and has been built with the idea of urban mobility, which makes it much smaller than most of the other vehicles with similar safety ratings. The fact that it has a high 4-star Euro NCAP means it is among the most balanced cars in the segment of entry-level EVs.
