Mahindra has released yet another teaser of the much-hyped Vision S SUV, which is slated to make its world premiere on August 15, 2025, in Mumbai. The teaser provides fresh information on the design philosophy of the vehicle, making it a bold and rugged concept SUV, which is bound to find its place in the line-up of the Scorpio, with the Scorpio Classic and Scorpio N.
In the new teaser, the off-road focus is emphasized by the sharp, upright design elements that promise an actual working concept off-roader in the Vision S.
Based on the silhouette, it can be concluded that Mahindra will design a muscular SUV with very obvious traditional body-on-frame 4x4 influences but also incorporating elements of future design.
Designing calls Disclosed
It has a wrapped-up front face, which states that it could be a hybrid/electric car beneath the hood. It has an aggressive stance due to the angular and slab-sided front profile and hooded bonnet scoops.
Additional design details are:
Flared wheel arches with prominent cladding
Chunky off-road tyres
Sharply raked windscreen
Raised ground clearance
That is a sure indication that off-road ability is an area of high priority to the Vision S, and that it may be positioned above or between existing Scorpio variants.
One of the Bigger Line-Up
The Vision S is not coming out as a solo venture. It will be joined by three other Mahindra concepts namely: the Vision T, Vision X and the Vision SXT. Although Mahindra is yet to share information on these models, the brand is likely to display a futuristic portfolio that will encompass ICE, electric and hybrid SUVs.
It is part of the Independence Day tradition of announcing big things by Mahindra, a trend that they initiated over the past years, with the unveiling on August 15.
Considering the fact that the Scorpio has already produced a great legacy in India, an updated, sleeker version of the same, with perhaps electrification or futuristic accents, may assist Mahindra in ensuring the future of its SUV supremacy.
At the moment, no mechanical requirements and powertrains are announced. To welcome Independence Day, Mahindra is ready to roll the covers off its vision of the next-generation SUV.
