After numerous appearances as a pre-production concept and multiple sightings of test mules, Tata Motors has finally released the first official teasers for the Tata Curvv EV. This highly anticipated vehicle will debut as an electric vehicle (EV), with an internal combustion engine (ICE) version to follow. Let's delve into the details revealed in the teasers.

The teaser highlights several design aspects of the Curvv EV:
Sloping Roofline: The Curvv EV features a distinctive sloping roofline, giving it a sleek SUV-coupe appearance.
Connected Light Setup: The EV boasts a connected light setup at both the front and rear, similar to the Tata Nexon EV.
Alloy Wheels: The alloy wheel design is reminiscent of the Nexon EV, with added aero inserts for improved efficiency.
Flush Door Handles: The Curvv EV will be the first Tata vehicle to feature flush door handles.

While Tata Motors has yet to disclose the exact battery and motor specifications, it is speculated that the Curvv EV will offer:
Battery Packs: A choice of two battery packs, with a maximum range of around 500 km.
Platform: Based on Tata's Acti.ev platform, also used in the Punch EV.
Charging and Features: Support for DC fast charging, vehicle-to-load (V2L) capabilities, drive modes, and adjustable energy regeneration.
Pricing and Competition
The Tata Curvv EV is expected to have a starting price of Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with other electric SUVs like the MG ZS EV and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV.
The ICE version of the Curvv will be launched later this year, with an expected starting price of Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This version will rival the Citroen Basalt and other popular SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.
