The BMW M2 has been launched at a price of Rs. 98 lakh (ex-showroom) and it will be sold as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
The BMW M2 is offered in five colour shades: M Toronto Red, M Brooklyn Grey, M Zandvoort Blue, Alpine White, and Black Sapphire. Exterior highlights include a slanted roofline, frameless kidney grille, sizeable air dams, quad exhaust tips, and a rear diffuser among others.
The BMW M2 comes shod with 19-inch M dual-tone alloy wheels up front and 20-inch at the rear. It can be had with Jet Black finish as an option. Interior features include a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch driver dash, a heads-up display, a 464-Watt Harman Kardon sound system, M steering wheel, M seat belts, M sport seats, and electronically adjustable driver and co-passenger seat with memory function among others.
Under the hood is a 3.0-litre, in-line, six-cylinder, twin-scroll turbocharged petrol engine mated to either a manual transmission or an automatic that churns 459 bhp of power at 6,250 rpm and 550 Nm of peak torque between 2,650 and 5,870 rpm. The company claims a 0-100 kmph dash in 4.3 seconds for the manual and 4.1 seconds for the automatic unit.
The BMW M2 comes with a bevvy of electronic driver aids such as cruise control, launch control, adaptive LED headlights, two-zone automatic climate control, M active differential, automatic start/stop function, BMW-connected car services, comfort access with digital key and drive modes (comfort, sport, and sport plus) among others.
