Audi Q7 Facelift To Be Launched On 28 November Bookings Open

Audi Q7 Facelift to Be Launched on 28 November; Bookings Open

Audi India has officially opened the booking process for the eagerly awaited facelifted version of the Q7, with an initial booking amount of Rs. 2 lakh. The refreshed model is slated for a formal launch on 28 November, with pricing to be disclosed at that time.

The Q7 facelift will be locally assembled at Audi’s manufacturing facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, as part of the company’s strategy to continue offering high-end luxury vehicles to the Indian market while keeping costs competitive.

With a host of design changes, advanced features, and an updated engine, the new Q7 is all set to maintain its status as one of the leading luxury SUVs in the country.

Exterior Updates
The Audi Q7 facelift will present a more modern and sporty exterior design, distinguished by several key updates. The front end now features a redesigned set of LED headlamps with a new light signature that incorporates four individual light elements, giving the SUV a distinctive and dynamic look.

Alongside these new headlamps, the grille has been reworked for a bolder appearance, while the alloy wheels have also been updated to offer a fresher and more contemporary aesthetic. Audi offers a wide range of colors for customers to choose from, including Glacier White, Samurai Grey, Mythos Black, Waitomo Blue, and the vibrant Sakhir Gold.

These color options give buyers the flexibility to choose a finish that best suits their individual preferences. These exterior enhancements will ensure that the Q7 remains visually appealing and competitive in the luxury SUV segment.

Interior Features and Design

Inside, the 2024 Audi Q7 facelift is set to offer a more refined and upscale experience for its passengers.

One of the key updates in the cabin is the revamped virtual cockpit, which now integrates a lane-change warning system, enhancing both convenience and safety for the driver. The dashboard and interior design have been updated with an emphasis on creating a clean, modern, and luxurious atmosphere.

Audi offers two distinct interior themes for the Q7 facelift: Saiga Beige and Cedar Brown.

These themes aim to cater to a wide variety of tastes, with each offering a balance of comfort and elegance. The interior has been designed with high-quality materials, and the spacious three-row seating arrangement ensures that both front and rear passengers enjoy ample legroom and comfort during long drives.

Additionally, the Q7 will continue to feature Audi’s advanced multimedia system, which includes a high-resolution touchscreen, premium audio options, and an intuitive interface for managing various in-car functions.

Although the cabin’s overall layout has been updated, the familiar premium features of the previous generation, such as leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and wood trim, will remain intact.

Powertrain and Performance

Under the hood, the 2024 Audi Q7 facelift will be powered by the same 3.0-litre, V6 turbocharged petrol engine that has garnered praise for its performance in previous iterations. This engine produces a healthy 340 bhp and a substantial 500 Nm of torque, allowing the Q7 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just a few seconds. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox that ensures smooth shifts and optimal power delivery across a range of driving conditions.

The Quattro all-wheel-drive system is standard, providing excellent traction and stability, particularly in challenging weather conditions or when navigating tricky terrains. Audi’s decision to retain this powerful engine with the facelift ensures that the Q7 remains one of the most potent SUVs in its class.

Furthermore, the engine’s efficiency has been improved slightly, with fuel economy figures expected to be competitive for a vehicle of this size and performance.

The driving experience in the facelifted Q7 is further enhanced by advanced suspension technology, which promises a smooth and controlled ride. The SUV will feature air suspension with adaptive dampers, allowing for a high degree of comfort while maintaining the handling characteristics expected from a high-performance luxury SUV.

The ability to adjust the suspension stiffness in real-time ensures that the Q7 provides both a comfortable cruise on the highway and a responsive, dynamic feel when driving more aggressively or on winding roads. The overall driving dynamics have been fine-tuned to strike the perfect balance between comfort, luxury, and performance.

Price and Availability

The 2024 Audi Q7 facelift will be available for purchase at a price to be announced on 28 November, with bookings already open for interested customers. The SUV is set to be locally assembled in India at Audi's state-of-the-art Aurangabad facility, helping keep the prices competitive while offering customers the quality and luxury associated with the Audi brand.

While the exact price will be disclosed upon launch, it is expected that the Q7 facelift will be priced in the range of its predecessor, ensuring that it continues to compete effectively within the luxury SUV segment in India.

The introduction of new paint options like Waitomo Blue and Sakhir Gold provides an extra level of customization, enabling customers to further personalize their luxury SUVs.

The facelifted Audi Q7 represents an exciting update to the brand’s flagship three-row SUV, with plenty of new features, design updates, and a refined powertrain. Audi’s decision to assemble the vehicle locally will help bring this premium SUV to a wider audience in India, with competitive pricing and a comprehensive feature list.

With the combination of its updated exterior, improved interior comfort, and powerful engine, the 2024 Q7 facelift is poised to continue Audi’s dominance in the luxury SUV market. The launch is just around the corner, with official pricing and availability set to be revealed on November 28, 2024.
