2026 Audi Q3 expected to be the next big launch of Audi India.

2026 Audi Q3 expected to enter the Indian automotive market by next year with an introductory price of ₹ 50 Lakh (ex-showroom). The compact SUV will come with refined features and an electrified powertrain option. Competing against Mercedes-Benz and BMW X1, the Audi Q3 (next-gen) will continue to maintain its unique features of smooth ride quality and great handling.

Third-gen Q3: The Next Big Launch of Audi India

  • Global debut made in June 2025

  • Audi Q3 launch expected in the third quarter of 2026

  • Compete with BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA

  • Available only with a petrol engine

The third-generation Audi Q3 is expected to be the next big launch of Audi India. The model has, however, made a global debut earlier this year in June. Since its launch in the Indian market, Q3 has seen a great demand. The model was then discontinued in 2020 and 2nd generation Q3 was launched much later in 2022.

Powertrain and Engine

Based on the Volkswagen Group MQB platform, the Audi Q3 is powered by a 2.0 turbo petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, which will deliver a power of 204 hp. It will have a petrol-only engine.

The Q3 will carry Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD) system as standard and will be limited to the stated gearbox and engine option. The 2026 Audi Q3 will reach 0-100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds.

This great combination and a push toward electrified powertrains will appeal to daily commuters and car enthusiasts alike.

Exterior and Interiors

The next-generation Q3 is expected to be 40 mm longer than the current model. The exteriors will boast new-age split headlamps and taillamps to add a striking and unique look to the model that’s quite different from the current model.

The Q3 comes with refined features and several updates, such as, upgraded driver assistance feature, advanced Matrix LED lamps, unique styling and other lighting improvements.

The interior of the Q3 will boast a 12.8-inch touchscreen, 11.9-inch digital dials, heads-up display (HUD) and several other premium features like, 360-degree camera, a 40:20:40 split seat folding, three-zone climate control, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, wireless charger and more.

Key Highlights

The third-generation Audi Q3 will impress the car buyers with its:

  • Good handling and visibility.

  • Comfortable driving.

  • Perfect for hilly areas as well.

Expected Price and Rivals

The 3rd-generation Audi Q3 is expected to enter the Indian market with a starting price (ex-showroom) of ₹ 50 Lakh (approximately). Talking about the rivals, it will compete against the strong compact SUV models in India, Mercedes-Benz and BMW X1.

Similar to the current model, the 2026 Audi Q3 will continue to attract buyers with its USPs of smooth ride quality and great handling. Further, it will be available in the Sportsback and Standard SUV body types.
