Since its debut in 2021, the Tata Punch has remained a strong contender in the sub-4m SUV segment, outselling popular models like the Maruti Swift and Hyundai Creta. The upcoming 2024 Tata Punch facelift promises to bring fresh updates, making the vehicle more advanced and competitive in the market.
2024 Tata Punch Facelift Enhancements
The facelifted Punch will feature notable changes to its front fascia, including a refreshed grille and redesigned headlamps, drawing inspiration from the Punch EV. While the side profile will sport new alloy wheels, the rear will see minor tweaks, with minimal changes expected to the tail lamps.
Variant-Wise Changes
Tata is also expanding its lineup with new Adventure S and Adventure + S variants, both offering a sunroof, rear AC vents, and a grand console with an armrest, enhancing comfort and style.
Pure Rhythm has been discontinued, replaced by the Pure (O) variant, which now includes central locking, all-power windows, electric adjustable ORVMs, and wheel covers.
The Accomplished variant has been dropped, replaced by the Accomplished +, which offers a 10.25-inch infotainment system.
Tech-Packed Interiors
Inside, the Punch facelift will feature a 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a segment-first addition. Tata is also adding a wireless charger and C-type fast charging in the higher trims like the Creative + and Accomplished + variants. The Creative lineup will now include Creative + and Creative + S models, with enhanced tech and premium upgrades.
Other potential upgrades include ventilated front seats and a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, adding a touch of luxury to the cabin.
Powertrain Options
The Punch facelift will continue with its 1.2-litre petrol engine, delivering 87.8 PS and 115 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. The CNG variant will also carry over, with potential for an AMT gearbox option, offering more convenience.
Launch and Pricing
The official launch of the 2024 Tata Punch facelift is expected soon, with pricing likely starting at around Rs 6 lakh. These updates aim to keep the Punch competitive in the sub-4m SUV segment, rivaling models like the Hyundai Exter and Maruti Ignis.
