Owners wishing to purchase a Volkswagen Tiguan, Taigun, or Virtus can take advantage of a combination of cash discounts, loyalty benefits, and exchange or scrappage bonuses starting in November 2025.
Tiguan: Big SUV, largest discounts (up to ₹ 3 lakh)
This month, Volkswagen's flagship SUV in India, the Tiguan, is being provided with the greatest perks. A ₹ 50,000 loyalty bonus, a ₹ 20,000 scrappage bonus, and a cash discount of up to ₹ 2 lakh are all available to buyers.
That said, higher-end 1.5 TSI GT Plus variants don’t get a cash discount; buyers can still avail a loyalty bonus (₹ 20,000) plus an exchange or scrappage benefit.
As in the previous cycle, the Volkswagen Tiguan continues to enjoy the most advantages this month. A monetary discount of up to ₹2 lakh, a loyalty incentive of up to ₹50,000, and the option of a ₹50,000 exchange bonus or a ₹20,000 scrappage bonus are among the benefits that buyers can receive, totaling up to ₹3 lakh. The Tiguan is still the brand's flagship SUV and is now available in India in its sportier R-Line model, which costs ₹49 lakh.
Taigun: Mid-size SUV with up to ₹ 2 lakh incentive
The Taigun midsize SUV sees varied offers depending on engine and specification. Savings of up to ₹ 1.5 lakh (cash discount) are available for the 1.0-litre TSI models, and overall advantages for some trims can reach up to ₹ 2 lakh.
For example, the entry-level Comfortline 1.0 litre petrol-manual trim is sold at ₹ 10.58 lakh (for both MY2024 and MY2025), while the MY2024 Highline trim is available at ₹ 11.93 lakh (MT) and ₹ 12.95 lakh (AT).
Depending on the version, the Volkswagen Taigun has different discounts. This month, there is no direct cash discount available for any of the 1.5 TSI GT Plus models. Customers can still receive loyalty rewards and exchange or scrappage bonuses, totalling up to ₹70,000. Volkswagen has implemented special pricing on some GT Plus models, but there are no cash savings.
The MY2025 Taigun GT Plus MT is currently priced at ₹15.49 lakh, which is ₹1.5 lakh less than the MY2024 models of the same model, which are priced up to ₹1.44 lakh less. Benefits for the GT Plus DSG versions are up to ₹1.51 lakh for the MY2025 cars and up to ₹1.45 lakh for the MY2024 units.
Virtus: Sedan savings of up to ₹ 1.5 lakh
Among the Virtus models, the strongest benefit, up to ₹ 1.5 lakh, applies to the Topline 1.0 TSI trim. MY2025 Highline trims are getting benefits of around ₹ 80,000.
Variant-specific offers are also made for the Volkswagen Virtus 1.5 TSI GT Plus. Although there is no special pricing for manual transmission (MT) models, purchasers can still take advantage of exchange/scrappage and loyalty bonuses worth up to ₹50,000.
On the other hand, enthusiasts seeking a more performance-focused sedan find the DSG variants to be an appealing alternative because of their more substantial offerings, which include bonuses and special pricing totaling up to ₹1.20 lakh.
What buyers should take into consideration?
These discounts and bonuses are subject to stock availability and vary city by city. Not all trims are eligible for the same degree of discount; higher-end and newer-model (MY2025) versions tend to receive decreased or no cash reductions, though they may still have exchange, scrappage or loyalty programs.
Also, the pricing slabs indicated are ex-showroom. On-road cost will depend on taxes, registration, insurance and other charges applicable in your city.
This deal can drastically lower the upfront cost for anyone thinking about purchasing a Volkswagen vehicle shortly, particularly a mid-size SUV like the Taigun or a sedan like the Virtus. The ₹ 3 lakh bonus helps purchasers who were considering the larger Tiguan SUV make a slightly easier decision, but they still need to check on-road pricing before committing.
