Upcoming Cars in 2024: What to Expect Before the Year Ends

Upcoming cars in 2024

With 2024 winding down, automakers are racing to unveil their latest creations. From facelifts of popular models to exciting electric vehicles, the coming months promise an array of options for car enthusiasts.

Here’s a sneak peek at some key upcoming launches before the year ends.

Hyundai Creta Facelift

Hyundai's popular Creta is set for a major facelift, bringing a bold design inspired by its global siblings, the Tucson and Palisade. Expect sharper LED headlights, revamped taillights, and new alloy wheels.

Inside, it will feature a modernized dashboard, a floating infotainment system, and advanced tech like a 360-degree camera and heads-up display.

Powering the Creta will be a new 1.5L turbo-petrol engine alongside existing options. Pricing is anticipated to increase by ₹70,000–₹80,000 depending on the variant.

Kia's compact SUV, the Sonet, is also getting a fresh look. Its redesign includes aggressive styling, updated alloy wheels, and connected taillights.

Inside, expect new features like a digital instrument cluster, Level 1 ADAS, and a 360-degree camera.

The Sonet retains its engine lineup, including the 1.0L turbo-petrol and 1.5L diesel, now with a manual gearbox option. The price bump for the facelift is likely in the range of ₹60,000–₹80,000

Tata Punch EV

Tata Motors is electrifying its lineup with the Punch EV, which is expected to launch soon. It will feature futuristic design elements like connected LED DRLs, an updated interior with blue highlights, and techs like a 10.25-inch infotainment system and connected car features.

With a 26–30 kWh battery pack, the Punch EV is estimated to offer a range of 330–350 km on a single charge. Pricing is expected between ₹13.5–₹17 lakh (on-road)

Mahindra XUV400 Facelift

Mahindra’s XUV400, its electric SUV, is due for an update that promises a panoramic sunroof, redesigned dashboard, and enhanced features like ventilated seats and ambient lighting.

Though its powertrain remains the same, these updates will likely see the price increase by ₹80,000–₹90,000

Mercedes GLS Facelift

Luxury lovers can look forward to the updated Mercedes GLS. While exterior tweaks are subtle, the real upgrades are inside. The SUV now comes with a 360-degree camera, new leather options, and an upgraded MBUX infotainment system. It’s ideal for those seeking opulence and advanced tech in their vehicles.
