The wait time for Tata Curvv has increased to eight to twelve weeks

The Tata Curvv has rapidly emerged as one of India's most sought-after coupe-SUVs, resulting in noticeably longer wait times in key cities. Dealerships are experiencing delays ranging from one month to over three months, depending on the type, as consumer interest in its gasoline, diesel, and electric versions increases. The variables affecting delivery schedules and the reasons behind the SUV market's ongoing growth in demand are explained in this subtitle. To prevent long delays, buyers should make reservations in advance.

  • How long will it take to get the Tata Curvv in November 2025?

  • How wait times vary across gasoline, diesel, and electric vehicle models and the causes of the delays

Why is there a delay?

Recent reports state that there is currently an 8–12 week waiting period for new reservations for the Tata Curvv. Dealer sources speculate that the lengthier delivery times are caused by strong bookings, variant-specific demand, and a mismatch between supply and demand.

Powertrain Waiting Time

Variants of Petrol

  • The greatest wait is allegedly more than three months for the entry-level Smart MT petrol model.

  • Depending on trim, higher models with a 1.2-liter Hyperion T-GDi engine or a dual-clutch automatic (DCA) may also have to wait up to three months.

Variants of Diesel

  • The waiting period for the diesel MT (manual) versions is typically one month for other trims and a little over two months for the base model.

  • Waiting periods for diesel automatic (DCA) models are also approximately two months.

Variants of Electric (EV)

  • The shortest wait period is for the Curvv EV, which can last up to four weeks, or roughly a month.

  • Sources claim that this is a decrease because the EV waiting period was formerly longer.

Variant and Regional Factors

  • Major cities like Mumbai are especially affected by the 8–12 week waiting period.

  • Your experience may change depending on the specific model you select because wait times can vary greatly depending on colour, trim, and gearbox.

  • The main causes of the extended delivery slots, according to dealers, are high bookings and low output.

What Should Prospective Purchasers Do?

  • For the most precise timeline, speak with your local Tata dealer and explicitly request estimates based on color and variation.

  • The EV version, which presently gives the fastest deliveries, should be taken into consideration if waiting times are an issue.

  • As an alternative, make reservations in advance for gearboxes or gasoline trims that are in great demand and cause higher wait times.
