Tata Motors will update their flagship premium hatch Tata Altroz with a facelift set to go on sale on May 22, 2025.
To build up anticipation, the company released teasers showcasing along with updates to several of its designs and features giving hints to buyers and overwhelming them with excitement. The Altroz facelift will feature new 16-inch dual-tone alloys and seats from the Punch EV, which will enhance the in-cabin experience.

In terms of the dash layout, most of the design elements will remain; however, Tata has focused on tech enhancements. The new Altroz will offer an infotainment system with a touchscreen display of 10.25 inches and an equally sized all-digital display for the instruments, giving a cumulative.
Also onto the Altroz is Tata's latest two-spoke steering wheel, adding to the company's mission of a modern cabin feel.
Fresh Look from Bumper to Taillamps
Outside, the Altroz facelift makes some of the following changes:
New design front grille and bumper
Fresh design LED headlamps with slender DRLs
Jigsaw-shaped LED taillights
Flush-door handles
These all contribute towards an even sharper, more refined look, which separates it from its earlier variant.
Engine Range & Position in Market
While Tata has not yet officially revealed the powertrain specifications, the facelift will probably retain its existing engine options:
1.2-litre turbo-petrol
1.5-litre diesel
You can typically expect these to be paired with 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmissions, along with 6- or 7-speed DCT automatic transmissions. The new Altroz is set to go head-to-head with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Hyundai i20, with prices likely ranging from around ₹7 lakh to ₹12 lakh (ex-showroom).
