Prices start at ₹14.55 lakh (ex-showroom) for the ICE Curvv and ₹18.49 lakh for the Curvv EV; powertrain and performance are unchanged.
The updated Tata Curvv and Tata Curvv EV now offer improved comfort and luxury-oriented cabin features, such as dual-zone climate control, passive-ventilated seats, and rear sunshades.
The new Curvv line prioritizes elegance and comfort. A dual-zone "TwinZone" climate control system, which enables different temperature settings for front occupants, is included in both the ICE and EV models.
In the rear cabin:
The ICE Curvv now has retractable rear sunshades known as "Serenity Screen" and passive-ventilated R-Comfort® seats, the first in India.
Benecke-Kaliko leatherette upholstery and a lighter dual-tone "Lalitpur Grey" interior theme are added, along with integrated cup-docks on the rear armrests (named "EasySip").
Winged "ErgoWing" headrests for the back row and raised footrests for improved comfort are two unique features of the Curvv EV model.
Variants & Powertrains: No Modifications
The fundamental physics of the cabin have not changed. About the ICE Curvv:
1.2-liter turbo-petrol (120 horsepower/170 Nm)
1.2 L direct-injection turbo-petrol (225 Nm/125 horsepower)
1.5 L diesel (118 horsepower/260 Nm). Options include DCT/dual-clutch automatic and 6-speed manual.
Curvv EV has two battery options: 45 kWh (150 hp) and 55 kWh (167 hp), with a claimed range of 502 - 585 km.
Cost and Availability
The updated models are priced by Tata Motors starting at:
ICE Curvv for the accomplished persona costs ₹14.55 lakh (ex-showroom).
Curvv EV at ₹18.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for personas who are empowered and accomplished. The range and powertrain remain unchanged despite the enhancements, maintaining the value offer.
Comfort Takes Charge
This update indicates Tata Motors' intention to elevate the Curvv series by incorporating luxury features and comfort instead of concentrating on performance improvements. These improvements help the Curvv stand out through interior design and feature-rich cabins as competition in the mid-size SUV and EV categories intensifies.
For consumers, this means that at a comparatively small additional expense, you may now enjoy improved comfort, particularly for rear passengers, while maintaining the same engine or EV range.
