Kia's Next-Generation Telluride Makes Its Worldwide Debut

Prior to its worldwide debut at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show, Kia has formally unveiled the next-generation Telluride. The new SUV introduces a sharper look, greater size, and a more upscale, tech-focused interior while maintaining the tough charm and road presence of its predecessor. The revised Telluride, Kia's flagship SUV, embodies the company's "Opposites United" design concept and is anticipated to launch in international markets, including the United States, in early 2026.

  • A sneak peek at the world premiere of the brand-new Kia Telluride, the company's flagship gas-powered SUV.

  • The vehicle's increased size, altered design, and global audience debut date.

Before the 2027 Telluride makes its formal world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month, Kia has given us a close-up look at the vehicle. Rather than a complete reinvention, the carmaker characterizes this as a confident progression of the preceding generation.

Dimensions and Design

With an approximate 2.3-inch increase in total length, a nearly 3-inch stretch in wheelbase, and a roughly 1-inch increase in height, the new Telluride grows in every direction. The style is sharper and more contemporary, in keeping with Kia's current design language, while the recognizable boxy form remains.

The interior of the cabin has been updated with more upscale features, a more expansive layout, and contemporary technology.

Design Identity & Philosophy

This model incorporates Kia's "Opposites United" design philosophy, which blends history and contemporary, roughness and elegance. The objective was to maintain and improve the Telluride rather than to completely recreate it.

Where and When

The new vehicle is anticipated to debut in U.S. showrooms in the first quarter of 2026, with a global introduction scheduled for the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show.

What We Are Still Uncertain About

Complete information about powertrains, costs, and regional availability has not yet been disclosed by Kia. Therefore, the performance and market rollout are still unknown, even if we know the size, style, and launch date.
