Nissan Motor India has announced wholesales of 4631 units for the month of May 2023.
Domestic wholesales stood at 2618 units, while export wholesales stood at 2013 units. Domestic sales have grown YOY(year-on-year) for May at 23 percent, and cumulative YTD domestic sales have also increased by 23 percent compared to FY22.
The company’s sales for April 2023 stood at 3249 units, it included 2617 domestic sales and export wholesales stood at 632 units. Looking at the figures, the company sold 1382 units more than the previous month.
The company recently introduced the Magnite Geza Special Edition for Rs. 7.39 lakh. The feature list for the Geza edition included a nine-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, JBL speakers , ambient lighting with app-based controls, a rear camera with trajectory guidelines, beige colour seat upholstery (Optional), and a shark fin antenna.
It is powered by a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine that comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission that belts out 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, the 1.0-litre turbocharged unit can be opted with either a five-speed manual or a CVT, it makes a good 99 bhp of power and 160 Nm of peak torque.
Regarding safety, the Magnite has achieved a four-star rating for adult occupant safety from Global NCAP. Other safety features include Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), to name a few.
