Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 1,81,630 units in July 2023
Maruti Suzuki has recorded a total sales of 1,81,630 units for the month of July, and this included domestic sales of 1,54,685 units, sales to other OEMs of 4,746 units and exports of 22,199 units.
The mini and compact segment sales stood at 76,692 units against 1,05,151 units for the same period in 2022. And the total passenger vehicle segment recorded a sale of 1,52,126 units opposed to 1,42,850 units for July, 2022. The domestic sales for light commercial vehicles stood at 2,559 units against 2,816 units for July, 2022.
The exports stood at 22,199 units against 20,311 units for the same period in 2022. The company recently launched the Invicto, Jimny and the Fronx. The recently launched Invicto has a starting price of Rs. 24.79 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model. The company says that the MPV has garnered over 7000 bookings since the company started accepting bookings. And the waiting period hovers around two months for most locations.
The Invicto is offered in three variants: Zeta+ 7 Seater, Zeta+ 8 Seater and Alpha +7 Seater. The car is also available on a lease plan with subscription prices starting from Rs. 61,680. The MPV is offered in four colour shades: Nexa Blue (Celestial), Stellar Bronze, Mystic White, and Majestic Silver.
The Maruti Suzuki Invicto uses a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine coupled to a strong hybrid system with an e-CVT transmission. The combined power from the engine and the hybrid system is 183 bhp at 6,600 rpm and 188 Nm of peak torque at 4,400-5200 rpm. The company claims a fuel economy of 23.24 kmpl.
