Mahindra is all set to launch its latest electric SUV, the XEV 9e, with bookings opening on February 14, 2025. With a claimed range of up to 656km on a single charge and cutting-edge technology, the XEV 9e is one of the most anticipated EVs in India. The electric SUV is offered in four variants – Pack One, Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three – catering to different buyer preferences.

Here’s a detailed look at what each variant has to offer.

Battery & Performance Options

The XEV 9e comes with two battery options – 59kWh and 79kWh. Power output varies between 231bhp and 284bhp, with 380Nm of torque across all variants. The SUV supports 140kW DC fast charging, which allows the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes, making long-distance travel more convenient.

Variant-Wise Features

1. Mahindra XEV 9e Pack One – The Base Variant

Even the base variant comes well-equipped with premium features:

  • Exterior & Lighting: LED headlamps, DRLs, LED taillights, and illuminated logo

  • Wheels: 18-inch steel wheels with aero covers

  • Technology: Dual 12.3-inch screens, wireless mobile connectivity, and a four-speaker + two-tweeter audio system

  • Comfort & Convenience: Automatic climate control, rear AC vents, height-adjustable driver seat, and tilt/telescopic steering

  • Safety: Six airbags, driver drowsiness detection, all-wheel disc brakes, brake-by-wire technology, and EPB (Electronic Parking Brake)

2. Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Two – Mid-Level Upgrade

This variant builds upon the base trim with additional comfort and tech features:

  • Wheels & Lighting: 19-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs with a light bar, front fog lights with cornering function, sequential turn indicators

  • Sunroof: Fixed glass panoramic sunroof

  • Driver Assistance: Adaptive cruise control, Level 2 ADAS suite

  • Premium Comfort: Wireless phone charging, six-way power-adjustable driver seat, dual-zone climate control, auto-dimming IRVM, and leatherette upholstery

  • Audio System: 16-speaker Harman Kardon music system for an immersive sound experience

3. Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three Select – The Premium Variant

This variant adds even more tech and luxury:

  • Enhanced Safety: Seven airbags, 360-degree camera, and blind spot monitor

  • Luxury Features: Ventilated front seats, dual wireless chargers, and passive keyless entry

  • Convenience: Electrically deploying flush door handles, second-row window sunshades, powered tailgate with gesture control, and co-driver ergo lever

4. Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three – The Fully Loaded Variant

The range-topping Pack Three variant comes with all features from previous variants, plus:

  • Luxury Enhancements: Ambient lighting for the panoramic sunroof and Night Trail carpet lamps for a futuristic touch
