Mahindra Thar Roxx Gets Three New Features to Enhance Comfort and Convenience

Thar Roxx Now Offers More Convenience for Everyday Driving. Mahindra has added three new features to the Thar Roxx, improving its comfort and usability. Here’s how these updates make it a better choice for buyers.

Mahindra has introduced keyless entry, a sliding passenger-side armrest, and aerodynamic wipers in the Thar Roxx, making it even more suited for urban and off-road adventures.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: A Blend of Off-Road Capability and Everyday Comfort

The new Mahindra Thar Roxx has given glorious redefinition to the legendary Thar nameplate that matches rugged performance with modern-day features. The Mahindra-made all-terrain vehicle hasn't been sacrificed in terms of off-roading completeness. Yet it has been enriched as far as comfort and convenience features are concerned for an extra appeal in everyday use.

The Thar Roxx is now being described as even more practical than its other versions with keyless entry, a sliding passenger-side armrest and aerodynamic wipers. Now, let us dissect these new updates.

What's New in the Mahindra Thar Roxx?

Mahindra has added a total of three new features to enhance the overall ownership experience of the Thar Roxx as below.

1. Keyless Entry for Hassle-Fee Access

To unlock the Thar Roxx, a physical key was previously required. However, now Mahindra has added keyless entry. It provides a much more continuous and modern experience. This minor yet significant change brings some convenience, especially in cities where you need to get into your vehicle fast.

2. Sliding Passenger Side Front Armrest for More Comfort

The driver, however, already has the sliding armrest, but Mahindra has now offered a counterpart on the passenger side as well. This gives yet more comfort during long distance journeys.

3. Aerodynamic Wipers for Quieter Cabin

The cabin of the vehicle becomes quieter as a result of the aerodynamic wipers. This becomes especially relevant when driving fast or in windy conditions.

While such changes may appear trivial, they are instrumental in improving how daily use becomes, making the Thar Roxx an even better proposition for off-road buffs as well as the city slicker.

Existing Features that Make the Thar Roxx Stand Apart

All these new updates do not mean that the Thar Roxx has become barren in terms of features as it still gives a long list of features such as:

  • All-LED lighting, a spare wheel mounted on the tailgate, and 19-inch alloy wheels to offer an aggressive rugged look.

  • The two 10.25-inch displays offer a tech-savvy experience on the go.

  • Adding to that is a panorama sunroof, a first in the Thar lineup, adding airy and premium touches to the cabin.

  • Ventilated front seats to cool down the warm environment.

  • Safety features include six airbags, 360-degree cameras, and ADAS.

Engine Options and Pricing

The lineup does not change in engines and remains the same with the Thar Roxx.

  • A 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.

  • A 2.2-litre diesel engine.

No price changes have been made by Mahindra from the earlier slab of ₹12.99 lakh to ₹23.09 lakh ex-showroom, India.

Conclusion

With the latest updates, Mahindra guarantees that not only will the Thar Roxx throw itself into an off-road sell but it will also be more user-friendly and comfortable for everyday driving. The new conveniences make it much more a package for buyers who want an all-terrain driving experience and also a little bit of refinement-what they have added so far.

If you're someone who enjoys an adventure, but you also just want a super comfortable and stylish SUV for driving in the city, the Mahindra Thar Roxx is definitely getting more and more appealing.
