Mahindra Thar Roxx Gets a New Mocha Grey Interior Theme

Thar Roxx Interior Gets a Practical Upgrade with Mocha Grey Theme. Mahindra replaced the Ivory interior of the Thar Roxx with a Mocha Grey theme in response to customer feedback. Prices remain the same, but a hike is expected soon.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx update pairs a darker Mocha Grey interior in place of the Ivory-tinted ambience, a change which covers all other 4x2 variants with unchanged pricing.

The Mocha Grey Interior Finish of the Mahindra Thar Roxx: A Civilized Upgrade

Taking account of all 4x2 variants, Mahindra made a subtle, yet significant, update to its Thar Roxx by bringing in a new Mocha Grey interior theme. This replaces the previous Ivory (white) one, which had always been criticized for being easily stained and difficult to maintain under rugged, off-road use.

With the exterior design and mechanicals continuing as before, this update to the interior makes sense from due practical considerations for the Thar Roxx; someone looking for an adventure would benefit from an interior that is somewhat rugged and easier to maintain.

Why the Change? Customers Said So

Most customers felt that the Ivory interior offered premium looks but a lot of functional negatives for Thar. Many buyers expressed discontent with the interiors being too light in color, very easy to dirty and painful to maintain after all the rough use they did while off-roading, or just even the simple dust and muck.

With this feedback in mind, Mahindra considered providing the Mocha Brown interior to 4x4 variants; now 4x2 variants are getting a darker yet practical shade. This is a clear manifestation of Mahindra proactively incorporating customer feedback into the product for optimizing user experience.

What Else Is New With The Thar Roxx?

  • The new Mocha Grey interior theme overrides the previous shade of Ivory.

  • Darker upholstery lends it a more rugged and easier-to-maintain demeanor.

  • There are no changes in features, design, or pricing-the update is purely aesthetic.

  • Now available at all Mahindra dealerships across the country.

No Price Increase But Changes in the Offing

Despite this interior change, Mahindra has left the pricing for the Thar Roxx unchanged for the time being. However, customers who are planning to buy a Thar or any other Mahindra model should note that the company plans to increase the prices across its range from next month.

This means that this is possibly the best time to book a Thar Roxx before the price revision comes into effect.

A Small Yet Significant Upgrade

The Thar Roxx is one of the most capable and stylish lifestyle SUVs in India, and with this new update to the interiors, it becomes even more practical for the off-road enthusiasts. Although it seems like a very small change, a darker interior increases long-term usability significantly- making this a welcome change for new buyers. Located at all Mahindra dealerships, the fancy new Mocha Grey-themed Thar Roxx is out for preview by customers before the expected price hike.
