Lotus has unveiled newer trim levels for the Eletre and Emeya EVs, whittling off £5760 off their starting price. Entry point Emeya and Eletre versions - now called '600' noted to the power outputs of 603bhp run the price cash register at £84,990.
The new R versions have kept the '900' name on both cars with the 905bhp output, while the mid-range S variants have changed to a much more segmented range of trim levels.
So sitting above base 600 is the 600 GT, whose pricing starts from £89,990. Inclusions are 22in alloy wheels, six-pot brake calipers, and Highway Assist, which adds lane centring to the adaptive cruise control systems fitted in the cars. The next grade up, GT SE, gets a 23-speaker KEF sound system, light-level adjustability for the panoramic glass roof and configurable ambient interior lighting. It opens its doors from £94,990.
With Sport SE bringing Dynamic Handling pack, which adds 4-wheel steering and active anti-roll bars, massaging, ventilated front seats, comes priced at £104,990, while one can drive GT for £89,990. Of these two classes bearing the full 905bhp and additionally some toys like active rear spoiler and fabric seats, the 900 Sport is the more economical starting point at £129,990.
Completing the carbonfibre body and interior packs inside and outside, the 900 Sport Carbon is nothing short of the bomb. This further includes a lighter bonnet and an active rear diffuser on the Emeya. Such, however, comes at the price of £139,990.
Underneath, both the Emeya and Eletre remain as they are-close, so that the saloon provides up to 379 miles of range and the SUV rather lower at up to 373 miles. Deliveries for the new iterations will begin later this summer
