Kia Carens Clavis Unveiled With 7 Variants, 8 Colours – Bookings Start May 9

Kia India has taken the wraps off the new Carens Clavis, offering buyers a wide range of options with 7 distinct variants, 8 eye-catching colours, and three powerful engine choices. Bookings begin on May 9 at midnight, with prices to be revealed in the coming weeks.

KIA Carens Clavis

Kia India has globally revealed the 2025 Carens Clavis, supplementing its MPV portfolio with an additional, brand-new, more feature-laden model. Ordering for the all-new version shall be launched from May 9, 2025, at 12:01 AM onwards, whereas its pricing details announcement shall arrive over the following few weeks.

Ginger Variant Series for Every Purchase

Carens Clavis would come in a range of seven variants:

  • HTE

  • HTE(O)

  • HTK

  • HTK+

  • HTK+(O)

  • HTX

  • HTX(O)

This broad range enables customers to choose according to their budget and feature requirements. Also, the Clavis will be available in two seating arrangements — a regular 7-seater in most variants and a special 6-seater arrangement for the high-end HTX(O) variant.

Eye-Catching Colour Palette

Customers will be able to select from eight exterior colours:

  • Ivory Silver Gloss

  • Pewter Olive

  • Imperial Blue

  • Glacier White Pearl

  • Gravity Gray

  • Sparkling Silver

  • Aurora Black Pearl

  • Clear White

These choices provide a trendy and young look to fit varying tastes.

Powertrain Choices for Any Driving Habit

Under the bonnet, Kia is providing three engine choices:

  1. 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (113bhp, 144Nm) with a 6-speed manual transmission.

  2. 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (158bhp, 253Nm) with 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, or 7-speed DCT.

  3. 1.5-litre diesel (113bhp, 250Nm) with either a 6-speed manual or a torque converter automatic.

What's Next?

Though Kia has not revealed prices yet, the Clavis is set to be a fierce rival in the compact MPV space, courtesy of its combination of utility, engine range, and personalization. Look for details on prices and variant-by-variant features in the coming days.
