These Electric Cars in India Are Power-Packed with V2L & V2V Tech!

Electric vehicles in India just got a tech upgrade! These EVs come equipped with V2L and V2V features that let you charge appliances—or even rescue another car!

Tata Nexon EV Facelift

Charging through sockets has always been heard, right? But what if vehicles around you can charge everything around you? Ready to check out some super cool cars that don’t just drive you around but also power up your gadgets and even other EVs?

We’re talking about Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) features, something that can be a game-changer in the automobile world.

1. Tata Nexon EV: The People’s Champ

To start with, Tata Nexon is the ruler of electric vehicles in India, holding a massive 65% share in the EV industry. It is priced between ₹12.49 lakh and ₹17.19 lakh (ex-showroom), and it’s a bestseller for a reason.

With a 45 kWh battery, it promises up to 489 km of range—perfect for city cruises or weekend getaways. Its V2L tech can power your laptop or BBQ grill, while V2V lets you share juice with another EV. Additionally, it charges from 10-80% in just 40 minutes with a 60 kW fast charger.

2. Tata Punch EV: Small but Mighty

Tata Punch EV is a compact one and India’s top-selling electric car in 2025. Starting at around ₹10.99 lakh, it’s loaded with tech, including V2L and V2V. Its 35 kWh battery gives a solid 315 km range, making it ideal for zipping through traffic or powering your picnic lights. This little hero helped Tata dominate the EV market, and its affordability makes it a crowd favorite.

3. Tata Curvv EV: The Stylish Coupe

The Tata Curvv EV, India’s only electric coupe SUV in the mass market. Priced from ₹17.49 lakh, it’s got a sleek design and two battery options: 45 kWh (425 km range) and 55 kWh (585 km range). Its V2L feature can run your coffee maker, and V2V can rescue a stranded EV. With a 165 bhp motor, it’s as fun to drive as it looks. If you want style and substance, this one’s for you.

4. MG Windsor EV Pro: The New Kid on the Block

The MG Windsor EV Pro, launched on May 6, 2025, is stealing the spotlight. Starting at ₹17.49 lakh, it boasts a 52.9 kWh battery with a 449 km range. Its V2L tech that powers your gadgets, and V2V helps charge other EVs. Plus, it’s got cool extras like ADAS, an electric tailgate, and ventilated seats. MG’s making waves, and this long-range beauty is proof. Early birds get it at a sweet deal for the first 8,000 buyers.

5. BYD Atto 3: The Premium Pick

The BYD Atto 3 is a stylish choice for those who love luxury. Priced around ₹33.99 lakh, it’s the priciest on our list but worth it. Its 60.48 kWh battery offers a 521 km range, and its V2L tech can run a mini fridge or your gaming setup. While it doesn’t have V2V, its premium features and sleek design make it a standout. Perfect for those who want to roll in style.

Why V2L and V2V Are Awesome

So, what’s the big deal with V2L and V2V? V2L lets your car power household appliances or camping gear, turning it into a mobile generator. V2V is like being a superhero—you can charge another EV that’s run out of juice. These features make EVs more than just cars; they’re lifestyle upgrades! With India’s EV market growing fast (thanks to high fuel prices and eco-conscious vibes), these tech-packed cars are leading the charge.
