2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Facelift: Electric Vibes Coming This Festive Season!

Hyundai’s bold new 2025 Ioniq 5 facelift is set to electrify Indian roads with upgraded tech, sharper design, and longer range, launching just in time for the festive season celebration. Here’s what’s buzzing about this futuristic EV.

2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Facelift

The 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is about to drop some serious coolness on Indian roads, and it’s got everyone buzzing. It was spied testing recently, this electric beast is getting a slick makeover, and it’s set to launch around the festive season, probably in August or September 2025.

Fresh Look, Futuristic Vibes

The Ioniq 5 is already a head-turner, but Hyundai’s cranking up the style. Spy shots (shoutout to Nitheesh for the snaps!) show a bolder front with a wider air intake rocking a V-shaped garnish.

The rear bumper’s got a sculpted glow-up, and those new alloy wheels? They’re not just pretty—they’re designed to slice through the air for better efficiency.

Oh, and the rear spoiler’s stretched 50 mm longer, giving it a sporty edge and boosting aerodynamics. The car’s 20 mm longer now, hitting 4,655 mm, but keeps its width (1,890 mm), height (1,605 mm), and wheelbase (3,000 mm) the same.

Comfy Cabin with Smart Upgrades

Slide inside, and the Ioniq 5’s cabin is next-level. A new 3-spoke steering wheel with pixel lighting adds a sci-fi vibe, making every drive feel like a mission. Hyundai tossed in physical buttons on the center console for quick access to stuff like heated seats, steering wheel warmth, and parking assist.

The wireless charger’s been moved for easier reach, and the infotainment system’s been upgraded with wireless OTA updates. You’re also getting a built-in cam, Digital Key 2, remote seat folding, and smart front lights that adjust on the fly.

Smooth Rides, Quiet Vibes

This EV’s not just about looks; it’s built to cruise like a dream. Hyundai beefed up the body structure with a stiffer cowl crossbar to cut steering wheel shakes. The rear wheels and underbody got double reinforcements for better stability, and the body’s tougher to keep low-frequency noise out.

The rear motor’s wrapped in extra sound insulation, so the cabin’s super chill and quiet. Whether you’re zipping through city streets or hitting the highway, expect a smoother, calmer ride.

Safety First, Always

Safety’s a big deal, and the 2025 Ioniq 5’s got your back. It’s packing 8 airbags and an upgraded collision avoidance system that’s sharper at handling front, side, and reverse crashes.

Structural tweaks to the B-pillar, body shell, and doors make it a fortress against side impacts. Plus, there’s a Hands-On Detection steering wheel for better Lane Keeping Assist and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 to make parking a breeze.

Battery Boost and Range

Under the hood, the Ioniq 5 facelift rocks an 84 kWh battery pack, up from the current 72.6 kWh in India. That means a range of 570 km (WLTP standards) for the rear-wheel-drive version.

The current model pumps out 217 PS and 350 Nm of torque, and those specs are staying put for now. If the bigger battery lands, expect longer road trips without the range anxiety.

Why It’s a Big Deal

Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 is already a global hit, and this facelift is set to keep it ahead of the pack. With its futuristic design, comfy cabin, and beefy battery, it’s ready to take on rivals like the Kia EV6 and Tata Curvv EV.

The festive season launch means you could be cruising in this electric stunner just in time for Diwali 2025.

To wrap up, the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift is bringing style, tech, and power to the EV game. From its sleek new look to a quieter cabin and longer range, it’s the electric SUV to watch. Get ready to light up the roads this festive season!
