Kia India has entered with a bang this time with the official launch of Carens Clavis EV, the fully electric version of its MPV car. As it is the first vehicle locally produced by Kia, the Clavis EV will be electric with a starting price of 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is all set to release in the upcoming days.

The Clavis EV will be offered in six exterior colours:

Kia has provided four variants, which include HTK+, HTX, HTX ER and HTX+ ER. The name behind the initials of the model signifies Extended Range as an abbreviation, where the battery is charged and has a longer driving distance.

The Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology that is also applicable to the Carens Clavis EV allows charging external appliances, front charging port with light and paddle shifters which adjust the regenerative braking rate of the i-pedal.

Features and Tech galore Packed

On the inside, the Carens Clavis EV will have a long list of premium and tech features that include:

  • Panoramic sunroof

  • All-LED lighting

  • 17 inch dual tone aero alloy wheel
