JSW MG Motor India has officially introduced the E20-compliant MG Hector with an ex-showroom starting price of ₹13.99 lakh. This update follows the directives of the Government of India that require all petrol vehicles manufactured after April 1, 2025, to be E20 fuel-ready, hence taking another important step in the way to sustainable mobility.
The Hector model, in compliance with this mandate, was initiated into production from March 31, 2025.

Engine Options and Specifications
The updated Hector retains its two engine options:
1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine developing 141 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, mated to either a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
2.0-litre diesel engine from Stellantis, generating torque of 168 bhp and 350 Nm, coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox only.
