Hyundai Motor India Limited registers cumulative Sales of 66,701 units in July 2023
Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has registered a total sales of 66,701 units in July 2023. Total sales for the month of July 2023 include domestic sales of 50,701 units and export of 16,000 units. This translates to a 0.4 per cent growth on a Y-oY basis for the domestic sales. The export for the same month in 2022 stood at 13,351 units, which translates to a significant 19.84 per cent growth on a Y-oY basis. The cumulative sales for July in 2022 stood at 63,851 which is a 4.46 per cent increase on a Y-o-Y basis.
The company recently has launched the Exter sub-compact SUV and the waiting period for the same extends to over an year. It was launched at an introductory price of Rs. 5.99 lakh and it has garnered over 16,000 bookings since the bookings were opened in May. The waiting period for the new Hyundai Exter is around 12 weeks depending on the variant. The Exter goes up against the likes of the Tata Punch, Citroen C3 and Renault Kiger to name a few. It is available in seven trims: EX, EX (O), S, S (O), SX, SX (O), and SX (O) Connect.
