The entry-level model of Honda's new electric "0 Series," the 0 α prototype, was unveiled. Honda's "Thin, Light, and Wise" design idea is embodied in the 0 α, which is built on a dedicated EV platform and promises lightweight efficiency and user-friendly technology.
The SUV will replace the previous Elevate EV project and be locally produced in India, making it Honda's first made-in-India electric vehicle. The launch date is set for early 2027.
Features and Design
A U-shaped LED taillight, integrated DRLs, an illuminated Honda logo, and a low, broad stance are all features of the 0 α. With a wheelbase of around 2,700 - 2,800 mm, it is longer than the Honda Elevate and has a larger cabin.
Honda prioritizes a tech-focused, minimalist cabin with flat floors, networked systems, and cutting-edge safety measures. The idea presents Honda's EVs' next-generation interior design.
