Gurugram to host the 11th edition of India’s Grandest Vintage Car Show

Gurugram will host the 11th edition of the 21st Gun Salute Concours d’ Elegance, which is a well-known vintage and classic car showcase from February 21st to 23rd. The 3-day event will feature a plethora of historic automobiles and motorcycles which will captivate the audience who are enthusiastic about automotive.

The event will begin with a flag-off event from India Gate to the Ambience Greens, Golf Course, Gurugram. The 21 Gun Salute Concours d’ Elegance has gained recognition in vintage monitor circles and this year’s edition will present 125 vintage and classic cars, along with 50 heritage vehicles.

Which cars can be expected?

A highlight of the exhibition will be the 1939 Delahaye by Figoni et Falaschi which is celebrated for its exceptional craftsmanship and design. Also, 3 vintage cars including the 1932 Lancia Astura Pininfarina, 1936 AC 16/70 Sports coupe and the 1948 Bentley Mark 6 Drophead will be showcased for the first time. Other prominent brands include Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Cadillac, Ford, and Aston Martin.

How to attend this event?

Visitors can buy tickets to the show by visiting the authentic show website.Tickets are sold separately for each day which will cost Rs. 500. People who wish to participate in the rally can register with their vehicles through the official website.

Entertaining Cultural Performances

The event will feature folk dances from Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Haryana in addition to cultural performances like Kathak, Bharatnatyam, and Kathakali. With the help of the infrastructure and automotive industry, Gurugram has become a major venue for events involving antique cars.

Madan Mohan, the Founder and Managing Trustee of the 21 Gun Salute Heritage and Cultural Trust, stated that the event aims to promote India's presence in global heritage motoring tourism.

He said “Year after year, we are setting new benchmarks in positioning India on the global heritage tourism map, in alignment with the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India. This edition will bring together some of the rarest and most exquisite vintage and classic automobiles from across the world”.

In conclusion, this year, it is anticipated that there will be record-breaking participation with collectors and enthusiasts in Gurugram coming from all over the globe to witness a spectacular display of automotive history.
