The 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed took place from July 10-13 on the beautiful grounds of Goodwood House in West Sussex.
This year’s theme, “The Winning Formula - Champions & Challengers,” was the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship and was celebrated in one of the most powerful line-ups ever.
From F1 champions to record-breaking electric cars & more, the event had it all covered.
Celebrating 75 Years of F1 - The Theme of the Festival
On Saturday, F1 legends like Jackie Stewart, Emerson Fittipaldi, Mario Andretti, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Jacques Villeneuve, Mika Häkkinen, and Karun Chandhok rode up the hill in iconic cars and joined the balcony hosted by The Goodwood House.
Bernie Ecclestone and McLaren CEO Zak Brown also accompanied them, creating a once-in-a-lifetime moment for all the fans worldwide.
The Theme & More
The theme of this year’s edition of The Goodwood Festival was “The Winning Formula - Champions & Challengers.” A major tribute was given to honour Gordon Murray’s 60-year-long career. A towering sculpture featuring his early F1 model, the Brabham BT52, with the modern GMA T.50 supercar, was there behind the Goodwood House.
Eye-Catching Supercars & EVs
Over 15 new, classic, and iconic supercars & EVs were showcased, out of which some steal the show. The highlights include:
Cars like Aston Martin Valhalla, Alpine A390, Porsche GT3 Cup, and MG Cyberster got the crowd's attention.
Hyundai’s Ioniq 6 N impressed everyone with its drift performance.
The electric Ford SuperTruck was driven by Romain Dumas, with a 43.2-second charge up the hill, which marked as one of the fastest runs in event history.
The event being a great success
Around 2,00,000 people attended this 4-day exciting event. Red Arrows had some amazing air displays which thrilled the crowd, and big brands like Ferrari, Hyundai, BYD, Porsche, and MG showcased new models of supercars.
Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025 brought together everything car lovers dream of. From racing legends, futuristic EVs, iconic cars, and world-class designs. It continues to be one of the most exciting automotive events of the year.
