Fourth Generation Nissan X Trail To Be Offered In Only Three Colors

Fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail to be offered in only THREE Colors

On August 1, 2024, Nissan India will launch the X-Trail SUV, doubling its product line. The Nissan X-Trail, which will be available as a CBU and retail for between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom), will be the flagship vehicle for the Japanese company in India. On July 26, reservations for the model, which costs Rs 1 lakh, will open. See below for answers to frequently asked questions regarding the future Nissan X-Trail, built to suit India.

Elegant Color Options

The new Nissan X-Trail will be available in three sophisticated monotone color options: Pearl White, Diamond Black, and Champagne Silver. These colors provide a sleek and refined appearance, allowing potential buyers to choose a shade that best matches their style.

Advanced Features and Safety

The 2024 Nissan X-Trail is packed with an array of advanced features designed to enhance the driving experience. Inside the cabin, you'll find a 12.3-inch fully digital driver's display that provides all the necessary information at a glance. The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ensuring seamless connectivity on the go. For added convenience, there is a wireless phone charger and a panoramic sunroof that offers a broad view of the sky, adding a sense of openness to the interior.

Safety is a top priority for Nissan, and the X-Trail is no exception. The SUV comes equipped with seven airbags, providing comprehensive protection for all occupants. It also features an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, making parking effortless. The rain-sensing wipers automatically adjust to changing weather conditions, ensuring clear visibility at all times. Front and rear parking sensors, along with a 360-degree camera, make maneuvering the vehicle in tight spaces easier and safer.

Powerful and Efficient Powertrain

Under the hood, the new Nissan X-Trail is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with 12V mild-hybrid technology. This setup delivers a commendable 163 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque, ensuring a dynamic driving experience. The engine is paired with a CVT gearbox, which provides smooth and efficient power delivery. The X-Trail will be available in a front-wheel-drive (FWD) configuration only, offering a balanced combination of performance and fuel efficiency.

Expected Price and Competitors

The pricing for the fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail is expected to start from Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). This positions it as a premium offering in the SUV segment. The X-Trail will compete with established models like the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, Skoda Kodiaq, and MG Gloster. Each of these competitors has its strengths, but the X-Trail aims to stand out with its blend of advanced technology, safety features, and elegant design.

Overall, The new-generation Nissan X-Trail is set to make a significant impact in the Indian market as Nissan's flagship SUV. With its sophisticated color options, advanced features, and robust powertrain, it promises to deliver a premium driving experience. As it enters the competitive SUV segment, the X-Trail will face stiff competition, but its combination of style, technology, and safety features could make it a strong contender. Potential buyers can look forward to the official price reveal in the coming month, making it an exciting time for those in the market for a new, high-end SUV.
